LESSON FEES 1 Hour Group lesson: $30
Lesson fees apply to riders of all ages and skill levels. All lesson and service fees must be paid prior to the start of the lesson. There is a $25 service fee for returned checks. Group lessons are 1 hour in length unless otherwise stated. Payment is due at the time of the lesson. No call no show results in charge of lesson, payment must be made before another lesson can be taken. Cancellation must be made with 24 hour notice to the instructor, otherwise there will be a charge. Exceptions only due to illness. The instructor will call if lesson is canceled due to weather. Holiday cancellations will be made the prior week. 2 occurrences of no call no show will result in forfeit of lesson spot. Coupons are good for four months from the date of issue. ![]() Denise Seah Denise Seah has been riding since 1969 a professional riding instructor since 1986. She has helped many young and young at heart amateurs get their start in the show ring as well as first time horse owners her background in showing is Arabian Show Pleasure and Hunter Jumpers. Denise’s approach to riding is through Classical Equation. She teaches both English and Western riding classes. Denise’s high interest and deep love for horses make her account for a wide range of training methods for both horse and rider, while focusing on each individual's goals and talents. Lessons are for the beginner and amateur rider. Each student will learn everything about the horse from the ground up, while stressing the importance of safety and equine behavior. Denise is a graduate of Park University where she obtained her degree in Fine Arts. Denise also works as a children's illustrator and also teaches art and equestrian clinics at Sue BD Stables. She teaches English, Western and basic Dressage with her philosophies of "only the obtuse resort to abuse" and "how to get the most out of a horse without insulting it." Safety and communication are the focus regardless of a student's age, gender or capabilities. Lesson horses are available or bring your own horse. Please note: negative coggins must be shown for all horses brought in for lessons. ![]() ![]() Vicki Massey Vicki has been riding horses for over 50 years, starting at the tender age of 2 when her grandparents bought her a pony. She rode competitively for over 10 years; showing her Arabians in western, hunter and harness classes. She has a Master’s Degree in Special Education; still teaching full time at the high school level, with no signs of retiring even after 30 years. She started teaching Girl Scout Horsemanship programs at a local stable after the owner noticed she was good with both horses and kids. A new passion and a second career were born; Vicki has been teaching riding lessons for over 10 years. She specializes in starting the beginning rider of any age (taking students as young as 4) and the rider with mild learning challenges.
